My name is Temu—which explains the "T" part of TKNanaPhotography—and I want to start by thanking you for spending a few moments to look through the site. Your time and attention are much appreciated!
If you're here for an *exhaustive* background, prepare yourself for disappointment. The short version is...I'm from Ann Arbor, MI, have a Pakistani father and a Canadian mother who collectively decided it was a wise decision to name their American son after a Mongolian conqueror, then outdid themselves by adding an Irish middle name. It's Keeney, for the record. That explains the "K". If you're keeping track at home, that makes my middle-last name combo Keeney Nana. I definitely wasn't made fun of at school.
I currently live in Philadelphia with my partner Jasmine, but I'm on the road about half the year operating small-group photographic trips for
Open Sky Expeditions (check us out!)
or small-ship cruises for alumni travel.
For 12 years my work has taken me all over the world, including all seven continents in 2019 alone.
My love of photography grew in tandem with my career in the travel industry, and almost all of my images were taken during those voyages as well as my own personal trips (except for the deep space images, which are taken outside Philadelphia).
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about...anything, really.
From general photographic knowledge to constellations to equipment to ordering prints to Michigan Football...I'm here to help!

WHEN YOU SPEND HALF OF YOUR LIFE "ON" WHILE LEADING TOURS, A HOBBY THAT ALLOWS YOU TO BE IN A DARK FIELD WITH NO ONE TO TALK TO CAN BE MOST REFRESHING AND RECHARGING.
