ANTARCTICA

I am often asked what my "favorite" destination is.

It's an impossible question to answer, but without any doubt the most spectacular place I've ever been is Antarctica. Astounding landscapes, unique wildlife, incredible stories of human exploration, and jaw-dropping light and color make it an absolute delight for any kind of traveler, but especially photographers. 

On a deeper level, Antarctica is a place that reminds us of our place in the world; it humbles us with it's grandeur, beauty, and unforgiving nature. It's a reminder that despite all of our power, there are places we can't tame.
